Júlia Lins (1994) is an independent singer-songwriter "who writes a Dylan-esque style of lo-fi story-telling music", as Sailing La Vagabonde perceptively wrote.
In 2017 Júlia released her homemade EP, "Music & Emotion", composed of five songs mostly based on raw emotions. Her main inspirations come from her early childhood memories in Bristol UK, her life experiences, the elements of nature and the intimacy with her own guitar. From here Júlia finds her best lively-sensations and can very naturally translate them into music.
Júlia is releasing "Silfos", her debute album, in a slow fashion, throughout 2025. She has recorded and is producing her album as a project in the academic Studio LEA, at Federal University of Campina Grande, Brazil.
From the origins of the album came the concept of a double-album, in which each song will have two versions: Acoustic Version and Roadtrip Version. Júlia is very excited to present this nuance of "Silfos". And while Júlia unleashes her creation into the air, she also composes "Kutulutsa", her second full-album.
In "Silfos", the tendency is less monothematic and drives, in an organic movement, to new narratives and an adventurous stimmung. New guitar intimacy and freedom in voice expression is to be expected as Júlia is diving wider and more consciously in her own tone, guitar style, narratives and imagination.
